It was created with the intention of inspiring a greater number of people to fight for people like Priya*. There are many organizations out there that are working to combat the overwhelming issue of human trafficking. Together we have the power to be involved with groups that can save a child from a life of slavery or lock up those who enslaved them.
*Priya is a pseudonym used to protect the privacy of the survivor.
Justice and Care is one such organization. They are the ones responsible for rescuing Priya and allowing her story to be told. They also work with the government and justice system in India to create a system that is better equipped to incarcerate those responsible for the trafficking of women and children.
